What the chart shows

Each bar is one day of the campaign. Throughout September, the account held between 20,000 and 100,000 daily views with announcements, ticket sales and driver presentations. During race week the curve climbs with the activations and sell-outs, and peaks over the weekend: 1,102,050 views between October 3 and 5, with a peak of 466,865 on race day. Afterwards, the results and the record announcement kept the conversation well above build-up levels.

Engagement measures the share of people reached who reacted to, commented on, shared or saved the content. Cumulative reach adds up the reach of every Instagram and Facebook post plus the people reached by TikTok (6 Sep – 3 Oct); interactions add up likes, comments, shares and saves across all three networks. In the TikTok row, engagement is calculated on views, because TikTok does not report reach per video.

05 · Concept and identity created for the round

Tradition, lucha libre
and high octane

For the arrival in Mexico we built a distinct identity, different from Barbados: the Mexican town as the setting and lucha libre as the language. Drivers become masked wrestlers, the ring is the track and the papel picado carries the GT logo.

The first hint · 5 Sep 2026

“Something big is cooking…”

A Pirelli P Zero tire leaning on a cactus, with a sombrero and the Puebla skyline at dawn. Without naming venue or date, the piece hinted at the arrival in Mexico. Two days later, the official launch confirmed it.

After the first hint · the drivers' identity

01 · The wrestler driver

Each driver appears as a masked wrestler in their country's colors, in the ring next to their race car. A way to introduce drivers from across the region with a code Mexican audiences recognize instantly.

02 · Mexican town

Colonial architecture, colorful façades and papel picado frame the whole round. The official poster takes the same cars from the Barbados poster to a Mexican street, with Apuestería as presenting sponsor and the GT Challenge + Repsol lockup.

03 · Three-piece system

Each confirmation was published as a carousel in three beats: wrestler cover, official driver card and career on a scroll. A series that is recognizable in the feed and easy for drivers and teams to share.

04 · Culture as content

Independence Day “Grito” with a patriotic discount, “Why Puebla? 5 facts you didn't know” with Visit Puebla, and references to Puebla's food and traditions in the drivers' reels.
